Engineering Psychology

The Georgia Tech School of Psychology has thoughtfully provided an extensive definition of engineering psychology.

However, I prefer the definition used by the young daughter of a fellow researcher to whom I spoke at a Human Factors and Ergonomics Society conference. When asked what her mom did, she would reply:

"She watches people work."

In other words, I love work so much, I could sit and look at it all day. Really.
